Rental Policy








Ramsey House Plantation is available for weddings, receptions, family reunions, off-site retreats, or any of your gathering needs. Set on over 100 acres and ten minutes from downtown Knoxville, the site is easily accessible and parking readily available. The rural setting provides the perfect backdrop for that special wedding or senior staff retreat within minutes of the city. 

Our Visitor Center is handicap-accessible, equipped with two meeting rooms (varies with exhibit needs), high-speed Internet connection, caterer-friendly kitchen, and restrooms. The Visitor Center can accommodate up to 100 people and 80 people for a seated event.

With over 100 acres available, planning any size outdoor event is possible. We work closely with local rental companies and caterers to provide you the best referrals for tents, chairs, and an other needs. The historic home provides a lovely backdrop for any event and the abundant shade provides a cool setting in summer months. Parking areas are available at no extra charge. Alcoholic beverages are allowed with a licensed server and guests are free to use any service-provider they wish.

 Please contact us for rental costs and any other questions.  *Weddings fees range from a minimum of $400 to $1,500 and include two hours of rehearsal time prior to the event. There is no additional charge for set-up and arrangements can be made to drop off supplies prior to the event.
