Ramsey House

Ramsey House Plantation is a 1797 historic house museum open to the public through guided tours. The site includes a Visitor Center that houses a museum shop, exhibits, and ticket sales. With over 100 acres, the site hosts picnic areas and heirloom gardens for guests to visit. Location rentals are also available for any event you can imagine! This beautiful property is ideal for weddings and receptions, reunions, garden parties, meetings, seminars and lectures, and our guided tours can accommodate both small and large groups.

Ramsey House Plantation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose purpose is
to preserve and interpret the Ramsey House and the history and cultural life of early Tennessee.

Ramsey House Plantation is administered by a Board of Directors for the Knoxville Chapter of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities (A.P.T.A.).
