The weather could not have been more perfect for our first wedding of the season! Hannah+ Mike kicked off Memorial Day by celebrating their special day with around 150 family and friends at the Historic Ramsey House. Their wedding was “picnic perfect” and reflected the bride and groom’s fun and laid back personalities. Mike + Hannah had a simple ceremony that kept us all on the verge of tears. The bridal party walked down the aisle to “Angels Wings” performed by the Robyn James Trio, which is the happy couple’s song. Wedding guests relaxed at the cocktail hour with an open bar by the Pour Guys and a bruschetta bar appetizer. The reception was decorated with gingham table clothes, wood rounds and sunflowers, giving it that summertime feeling. After a delicious buffet by Dead End BBQ, wedding guests joined Mike+ Hannah on the dance floor and boogied the night away thanks to Music in Motion. Homemade touches were scattered throughout the ceremony and reception from Hannah’s vintage blue dress and matching birdcage to her scrumptious ice cream sandwiches. And don’t worry; if your sweet tooth was not satisfied at the s’mores bar at the reception, Mike+ Hannah made jars of homemade s’mores bars with the recipe attached as wedding favors for their guests. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. McConnell on their marriage and thank you for making the Historic Ramsey House part of your special day!
